SFYAL uses PIAA certified umpires for National League games.  For American League, we are opening that up to anyone interested in umpiring.  To be eligible to umpire, you must be 16-17yo with parent permission, or 18yo or older.  Everyone must also have a background check.   Umpires will be paid $25 to work an American League game.

Jim Lotke will be conducting umpire clinics for anyone interested.  The next clinic will be Wednesday, April 4th at 6pm.  Meet at the SFYAL Complex.

For the younger divisions, umpiring duties will be taken care of by the coaching staff.
