Games are ON for tonight (4/23).

Balls hit into the dirt area along the fence-line of Field 2 will be ruled an automatic ground-rule double.

Practice status is up to the discretion of the coaches.

Nike and Marucci Bats Banned

Babe Ruth League, Inc. has been informed that Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BTO636 (light grey), CX2-BTO573 (dark grey) and CX2-BTO598 (blue) have failed recent performance standard compliance testing.

Effective immediately and until further notice, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BTO636 (light grey), CX2-BTO573 (dark grey) and CX2-BTO598 (blue), including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken program or activity.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has advised Babe Ruth League, Inc. that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the Marucci CAT5 33-inch model.

Effective immediately and until further notice, this bat (Marucci CAT5 33” length) is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken program or activity.

Temple University will be hosting a summer baseball camp at their Ambler  Campus for kids ages 7-12.  Please follow the link above for more information.

We are excited about the way the divisions are shaping up this year and expect a fun and enjoyable fall season. Some specifics are being worked out, but to give you an idea of the plans, here’s what to expect.

Saturday, August 27th – 9:00 to 10:30 – 10U clinic

Saturday, August 27th – 10:30-11:30 – 12U clinic

Sunday, August 28th – 10:30-11:30 – 12U clinic

Teams will be announced on or around Sunday, August 28th.

Practices will start the week of August 29th, with first game Saturday, September 10th. You should be able to get one or two practices in before games begin.

Games will be played on Saturdays at 9am, 11am and 1pm.
